The Navy

The Royal Australian Navy is our nation's first line of defense, and as an island nation, we rely on them to defend our shores from any foreign threat. The Armed Forces party proposes to increase the size and power of the Navy.
Currently, the RAN has about 14,000 personal  and 53 vessels including frigates, submarines and patrol boats - we plan to double this amount, with heavy investment in new modern ships and the creation of the Royal Australian Marines.
